December 6th - 7th WILD ARTS FEST - Portland, Oregon. Sat 10am-5pm Sun 10am-4pm

Join us for an artsy double header at THE WILD ARTS FESTIVAL--(Wow-wee 45th Annual). Chris Moench, my potter hubby, will be showing his fresh-out-of-the-kiln "Axis of Hope Prayer Wheels" and I (Jennifer Hahn) will be signing copies of my new book “Pacific Harvest: A Northwest Coast Foraging Guide", "Pacific Coast Foraging pocket guide: 50 Foods from Beach, Field and Forest", "Spirited Waters: Soloing South Through the Inside Passage." LOCATION: Wingspan Event Center, 801 NE 34th Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97124. The Wild Arts Festival is a great way to support Oregon’s wildlife and wild places, as well as local artists. The festival typically has 60+ artists on hand, and 24 authors. You will undoubtedly find the painting, sculpture, jewelry piece, photograph, woodwork, textile, ceramic piece, glass-blown art and books that speaks to you.

"LIGHTENING TALKS" Short “lightning talks” by authors and artists will offer further insights into their work, process and inspiration. Pop in and out to see as many you like on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Hi-lights featuring Chris and Jenny's Books and Clayworks: Sat. 11-4pm: Jenny book signing with 12 other author's in Author's Room Sat. 12:30pm Jenny shares a "Lightning slide/talk" on Sustainable NW Foraging and Feasting Sat. 1:30pm Chris shares a "Ligntning slide/talk" on 30+ years and 1000 individual prayer wheel sculptures.
